| 摘 要： | 不同类型、层次、地域的高校在实施国家创新的战略中都将发挥重要作用。对于广大西部地方高校而言,推动地方经济与社会发展是自身功能与价值的集中体现。笔者通过对吉首大学的个案分析,认为西部地方高校在服务地方经济与社会发展中具有“三个不可替代性”。
