| Abstract: | Cultural presupposition refers to the shared cultural background information between the original author and the original readers. This paper explores how to help the target readers possess this kind of cultural presupposition by means of foreignizational translation in Chinese-English translation from the perspective of the target readers＇ acceptant ability and their expectant field of vision. |
