| 摘 要： | 对于英语单词intern(e),paraphrase,metaphor,discourse和Generation X存在同一英语释义拥有多种汉语译文容易引起歧义这一现象进行了评述;指出一个释义拥有多个译文会增加一般读者理解、掌握它们的难度,它们的汉译,特别是译成术语时最好能够统一,尽量不要使人们产生误解。

| Abstract: | This paper comments on the fact that some English words,like intern(e),paraphrase,metaphor,discourse and Generation X,have two or more Chinese translations for the same English definition,some of which are open to different interpretations;and it points out that one definition with two or more Chinese translations will have common readers understand and master them in no easy way.The Chinese translations,especially when the English definitions are translated into the Chinese terms,should be the same words,so as not to cause readers to have misunderstandings. |
