| Abstract: | Based on comparative economic principle, we emphasize here that it is of great strategic significance to develop ocean industry in Shantou. We hold the opinion that the aim in building strategic platform in Shantou aquatic industry development should be: to strengthen and enlarge seaport industry economy; to develop ocean food and health-care food processing and ocean medication industry; to create more ocean aquatic industry advantage; to develop seaside city tourism. |
