| Abstract: | There are lots of circular decorative patterns on Xiamei ancient residential architectures in Wuyishan. Based on the practical examples, the present article discusses the connotation of circle and explains the ancient ancestors＇ concept of ＂ round sky and square earth＂, ＂ sun worship＂ and ＂harmonious blending＂. |
