| 摘 要： | 象声词是对声音的摹拟 ,是语言中的一种普遍现象。英语和汉语中都有丰富的象声词 ,但是由于各自语言的特点 ,使得它们在使用上显示出明显的差异。英语象声词的结构比汉语象声复杂 ,而汉语象声词的使用范围则比英语象声词广。

| Abstract: | Onomatopoeia,the imitation of sound associated with the thing concemed,is a universal phenomenon on language.Both English and Chinese are abundant in onomatopoeia,but they show remarkable differences from each other in usage.This paper attempts to compare in detail the differences and similarities between English and Chinese onomatopoeias in the aspects of structure and function,thus,to lead us to a deep probe into this languae phenomenon. |
