| Abstract: | Code - switching refers to the application of different languages or language variations according to the change of time, place, content and persons in interpersonal communication. This paper explores the necessity of the application of classroom code - switching in legal English teaching from the following five aspects, namely, the functions of code - switching in classroom, the teacher capability, students＇English proficiency and the features of legal English. Finally this paper summarizes that classroom code -switching is an essential teaching tactic for the teachers to sucessfully finish the teaching contents and to achieve the academic goal of this course. |
