摘    要:目的/意义]探索ESI指标可视化技术和方法,提高图书馆学科知识服务能力和水平。方法/过程]采用R语言编程技术整合ESI数据,运用ggplot()函数绘制ESI各项指标数据的箱线图、直方图、散点图,从机构的ESI学科定位、对标对比和发展趋势等视角进行评估。结果/结论]研究表明该方法能较为全面地表征ESI各项指标,准确地描述所评机构学科在ESI分类的22个学科当中所处位置,直观地反映所评机构学科与对标机构的相对偏差及其发展趋势。

Abstract:Purpose/Significance]The research aims at exploring the ESI indicator visualization technology and methods to improve the library’s subject knowledge service capabilities and level.Method/Process]The ESI data is integrated by R language programming technology, and the box plot, histogram and scatter plot of ESI index data are drawn by ggplot() function, and the ESI subject positioning, benchmarking comparison and development trend are evaluated.Result/Conclusion]The research shows that the method can comprehensively characterize the ESI indicators, accurately describe the position of the evaluated institutions in the 22 disciplines of ESI classification, and intuitively reflect the relative deviation and development of the institutions and benchmarking institutions trend.
