Abstract: | Broadcast programmes have been a valuable teaching resource since the British Broadcasting Company started transmitting radio programmes for schools in the 1920's. Although of outstanding quality, broadcasts suffer from two inherent drawbacks as resource material: namely the inability to preview and the problem of matching time‐tables to transmission times. |
