| 摘 要： | 定安话是海南闽语的重要分支,其中存在情态动词重叠这一独特的语法现象,这在普通话中并无对应结构,具有一定的语法研究价值。研究表明,定安话情态动词重叠在语义上通常表示“程度增强”,该重叠结构的第一个成分相当于普通话中的程度副词“很”。这一研究结论从一个侧面印证了Moravesik的“重叠结构用于表达语义加强”的理论假设,同时对进一步揭示定安话情态动词的系统特征具有重要的认识论和方法论意义。

| Abstract: | Ding’an Dialect(DAD for short) is an important sub-branch of Hainan Southern Min. The Reduplication of modal verbs in Ding’an Dialect is a special grammatical pattern that defies its structural equivalence in Mandarin Chinese, which is thus of certain significance for grammatical studies. It is found in this research that the reduplicated modal verbs in DAD are generally used to express "degree enhancement" in a semantic sense. The first component of the reduplicated structure is equivalent to the degree adverb hen "very" in Mandarin Chinese. This finding bears in part testimony to Moravcsik’s proposition that a reduplicated structure tends to be used to express semantic enhancement, and it is also of much help to reveal the systemic characteristics of modal verbs in DAD and beyond, epistemologically and methodologically. |
