| 摘 要： | 通过对山西部分高职高专院校英语教师队伍状况的调查,发现教师的紧缺情况非常严重,已经成为制约我省高职高专院校英语教学质量提高的主要因素。文章分析了目前教师队伍中存在的主要问题,并提出了一些解决这些问题的针对性建议。

| Abstract: | A survey of the present conditions of the English teachers in some vocational colleges in Shanxi has been made. Some problems, in which the shortage of English teachers is the main inhibiting factors to improve the English teaching quality in most of the vocational colleges, and some strategies trying to deal with the problems are given here. |
