| 摘 要： | 《美国的悲剧》对20世纪二十年代的美国社会进行了集中的、典型的、深刻的描写。文章通过对小说文本的解析，剖析了其悲剧性不仅在于揭露社会制度的丑恶和小人物的悲惨命运，而更在于作为国家文化核心的进取精神、家庭伦理、爱情信念、宗教信仰等人文传统和价值体系的迷失，从中折射出时代的“深层悲剧”。
