| 摘 要： | 中华书局附设函授学校英文科,是根据当时的实际国情灵活创建的＂本科＂（学历教育）和＂选科＂（非学历教育）兼顾的双轨教学体制,其教学体制与课程设置都呈现出了弹性化、多样化、科学化和大众化的特点。依据社会之实际需要,尊重学员个体之间的差异,考虑不同学习群体的实际需求,＂本科＂制和＂选科＂制都很好地沟通了普通教育和职业教育,兼顾升学、就业和研究的三重需要,并试图与普通高等教育接轨,而且还特别重视学习方法的指导,这些做法对当前的成人教育和自学考试都有着重要的启发和借鉴意义。同时,英文科能够紧随现代科学技术的发展,及时把电化教育手段——留声机片和无线电广播应用到函授教育中,这在中国函授教育史上都是具有里程碑的意义。

| Abstract: | The correspondence school of English Language attached to Zhonghua Book Company is based on the actual conditions at the time to flexible create a ＂undergraduate＂（record of formal schooling） and ＂election＂ （non-aca- demic education） that taking into account the two-track teaching system. The education system and ＂selection＂ and curriculum has emerged as flexible, diverse, scientific and popular features. Based on the actual needs of society, respect for individual differences between students, to consider the actual needs of different learning groups, the ＂undergraduate＂ system and ＂selection＂ system is good communication of general and vocational education, taking into account the triple needs of the enrollment education, employment and research, and try to align with the general higher education, but also special attention to the guidance of learning, these practices adult education and self- examination has an important inspiration and learn on the current. Meanwhile, the English language can be followed by the development of modern science and technology, and timely applied means of the audio-visual education-phonograph films and radio broadcasts to the distance education, that is a landmark in the history of distance education in China. |
