| 摘 要： | 城市"窗口地带"公示语具有特殊的作用和意义。通过对杭州"窗口地带"的双语公示语进行收集整理,在功能目的论的指导下进行探讨分析,发现除存在语法问题外,还有欠缺规范、用词不当、冗余繁杂等问题。而存在这些问题的根本原因在于缺乏功能翻译理论的指导。

| Abstract: | Public signs in the public transportation systems are of great use and significance to a city. The paper has collected and analyzed a lot of Chinese and English public signs in the public transportation systems of Hangzhou city. It has explored the problems with the C-E translation of those signs such as the lack of consistency, improper diction, wordiness and grammar inadequacy and so on. The underlying reason for the C --E translation problems is the lack of guidance of functionalist translation theory. |
