| 摘 要： | 谚语是语言和智慧的结晶。英语谚语在结构、音韵、用词、内涵等方面的特点是往往使用各种修辞手段。通过例句对于谚语中的常见辞格进行概括,不仅可以从修辞这一高度提高读者对谚语的鉴赏力,而且这些短小精悍的谚语例句又可以促进读者对相关辞格的理解。掌握灵活使用谚语的方式可以提高读者英语表达的独创性。

| Abstract: | Proverbs are a crystallization of language and wisdom.These advantages of the proverbs are a result of the various rhetoric devices employed in their delivery.This essay,through some terse but forceful sample proverbs,generalizes some of the most frequently used devices,which is meant to enhance not only the reader's appreciation of proverbs in the light of rhetoric but also their understanding of the relevant rhetoric devices.Furthermore,some suggested methods of the creative uses of proverbs are proved to add to the reader's originality of language expression. |
