情感过滤假说在英语教学中的应用

摘    要:情感过滤假说是克拉申监控理论的五个假设之一,在外语教学以及二语习得中起着重要作用。文章分析了当前中国英语教学的现状,指出英语学习者存在的问题,提出了应用情感过滤假说以改进英语教学的建议。

Abstract:The Affective Filter hypothesis is one of the five hypotheses in Stephen Krashen's Monitor theory which plays a vital role in second language acquisition and foreign language teaching (FLT). The paper makes a tentative analysis of the current situation of English learning and teaching in China. It points out the problems of Chinese English learners and suggests that the Affective Filter hypothesis may be particularly helpful in English teaching.
