| Abstract: | Humor is a special form of verbal communication, which plays an important role in people's daily life and helps to improve human relationships. From the perspectives of the type, the narrative pattern, the production of humor effect, the characteristics and the function, this paper tries to analyze the English humor and hopes to deepen the knowledge of the English humor. In this way, it will provide a better opportunity for improving people's understanding of English and facilitating English communication. |
