| 摘 要： | 随着国际交流的加强,英语的重要性日益显现,英语自主学习研究自然而然地成了外语教育界的研究热点。然而奇怪的是,研究者在热衷于研究学习者利用元认知对自身认知进行管理和调控的同时,却忽略了其利用元动机对自身动机进行的管理与调控;在致力于研究学习者动机的同时,却忽略了其对自身动机的意识(元动机)。针对这一情况,文章运用定量分析的方法,对172名非英语专业本科生在英语自主学习过程中的元动机情况进行了调查,结果发现他们的元动机强度整体偏低,元动机的具体策略使用不均衡,并且存在个体差异,而其元动机强度与学业成绩成正相关关系。
