| 摘 要： | 英汉语中都有大量比喻性词语，但由于各自社会文化背景的不同，在比喻的主体与客体之间选择也不尽相同，从英汉两种语言的比喻性词语的喻体与喻义问的对应关系着手，可探讨其内在的文化内涵，比喻性词语可通过成语、俗语、谚语、惯用语、典故格言等诸多形式表现出来，英汉两种语言在对同一本体设喻时，采用的喻体却有同有异，喻体与喻义之间的对应关系也不同。
