| 摘 要： | 曾国藩在中国近代特殊的历史条件下成为推进洋务运动的先驱,主要是因为其学识,魄力,民族危机意识和中兴名臣的地位,权力,威望等因素为之提供了重要的条件,他推行的洋务活动主要包括设厂制造,举办军工企业,培养人才,首派留学生,对外交涉等几个方面,其以“义理为本,洋务为用”的思想也成为尔后“中体西用”论的滥觞,对中国近代历史发展产生了深远的影响,曾氏首倡洋务的动机,功过,指导思想等问题很值得批判与总结。

| Abstract: | Mostly because of his learning, boldness, awareness of the nation' s crisis as a person of ideals and integrity, and his position, power, prestige as a high and meritorious official, Zeng Guofan became the pioneer of advocating the Westernization Movement in the special historic condition of the Chinese mode times. The Movement he was carrying out included constructing plants for manufacturing, initiating war- industrial enterprises, training qualified personnel, sending students to learn abroad for the first time, communicating with foreign countries and so on. His idea that "Confucianism is the foundation and Westernization is subsidy turned to be the origin of the view that Foreign science and technology should be introduced and applied by China" later, and as a result, it exerted a tremendous influence to the development of the Chinese modern history. It is worth criticizing and summarizing the motivation, contributions and blunders, and the guiding ideology of Zeng Guofan to pursue the Westernization Movement. |
