| 摘 要： | 语言是文化的载体,汉英谚语都承载着丰富的文化内涵。每一个民族都有自己的道德观念和标准,道德是民族文化的一部分,因此很多英汉谚语反映了中西方不同历史时期的道德观念,通过对比分析英汉谚语中所反映的不同道德观念,可以加深对中西方文化差异的了解,提高正确理解、翻译和使用英语谚语的能力。

| Abstract: | Language is the carrier of a culture. Both Chinese and English Proverbs are rich in cultural meaning. Morality is a part of a national culture. Every nation has its own moral concepts. Therefore many Chinese and English Proverbs all mirrored the Chinese and Western moral concepts in various historical periods. This work is to analyze and compare the different moral concepts and standards implied in Chinese and English Proverbs so as to improve our understanding of the Chinese and West Cultures, and upgrade our ability to translate and utilize English Proverbs. |
