| Abstract: | To foster the students' reading ability is the most important demand of Syllabus of College English Teaching.But cultural background has great influence on the understanding of the article and the improvement of students' reading ability.So the teachers should use various ways to incorporate the teaching of cultural background into the process of college English read-ing teaching. |
