| Abstract: | Ellipsis"and"Implication"are two language phenomena which frequently appear in the use of languages. The former is a pragmatics phenomenon and the latter, a language phenomenon. This article mainly illustrates the two phenomena in both Chinese and English languages and at the same time undertakes some structural analysis. |
