| 摘 要： | 长期以来,对于1925年发生的五卅运动,人们常常将注意力集中于“反帝”这一核心领域,却往往忽视了在整个事件交涉过程中,北京政府与公众之间所出现的互动关系。在当时,民众对不平等条约已极为不满,所以当“五卅”惨案发生后,舆论界立刻对北京政府施加强大的压力,要求以强硬的态度进行对外交涉。不仅如此,民众还进一步呼吁彻底废除不平等条约,最终促使政府借此事件发起了“修约”运动。

| Abstract: | As to May 30th Movement, people have for long paid attention to its core issue of anti-imperialism and neglected the interaction between the Peking Government and the public at that time. In fact, the public was greatly dissatisfied with the unequal treaties and demanded forcefully the government to take uncompromising attitudes in foreign affairs after the tragic event in May. Furthermore, the public also asked the government to put an end to all unequal treaties, which made the government initiate the movement of revising the unequal treaties. |
