| 摘 要： | 隐喻是以一事物去理解另一事物的认知工具，并普遍存在于语言现象中。隐喻应用于大学英语阅读教学不仅能培养学生的隐喻语言意识，还能提高学生的阅读理解能力。

The application of metaphor to college English reading teaching will not only cultivate students＇ metaphor awareness, but also improve their reading comprehension ability. |
