| Abstract: | The promulgation of the new Fundamental Law of Education indicates the changes of Japanese educational legal system and reforms of education. This article attempts to trace the processes of the revision of the Fundamental Law of Education. It also tries to analyze the background of the revision of the Fundamental Law of Education. Besides, the article compares the content of the new and old fundamental law of education and analyzes the arguing points of the fundamental law of education. |
