| Abstract: | English linguistics is closely related to English teaching in colleges and universities, and the development of English teaching in colleges and universities needs the auxiliary role of English linguistics. Starting from the perspective of English lin-guistics, this paper explores the application of the professional contents in linguistics to English teaching of colleges and univer-sities, and it will be a necessary complement for routine English teaching methods and ultimately improve the actual effect of English classroom teaching. |
