| 摘 要： | 托马斯·哈代的主要成就不仅在于小说创作。20世纪初,哈代以成熟的诗人身份出现于英国文坛,并为后人留下了918首诗作。哈代的诗歌既不是维多利亚时代风尚的,也不像现代派诗人那样走极端,而是兼有这两种风格特征.可以说,哈代是从维多利亚时代向现代主义过渡的诗人,在英国诗歌发展史上起了承前启后、继往开来的桥梁作用.本文拟就从哈代诗歌的形式,主题及创作技巧等方面作一粗浅分析,通过对哈代诗歌的现代主义色彩的探讨,表明哈代作为诗人的现代性一面。

| Abstract: | Thomas Hardy's achievement lies not only in his novels but also in his poetry.He produced 918 poems in his life.Living in the transitional times has colored Hardy's writing.His poetry presents both Victorian and modern characteristics.The present paper is a discussion of the modernism characteristics of Hardy's poems in terms of the forms,themes and writing techniques.It aims to provide more evidence of the modernity of Hardy as a poet. |
