| 摘 要： | 由在中国上海郊区和日本乡村实地调查可见两地民居的环境习俗的一些基本差异，即中国江南乡村讲究环境的选择，日本乡村侧重于环境的布设；中国江南乡村永恒建造的习俗较多，日本在民居建造上的习俗较少；中国江南在房屋部件安排上顾忌较少，日本民居中宗教、信仰成份极多；中国江南乡村基本不保留旧居样式，日本农村保持传统，不愿重建；中国江南农村民居配置以好房间给后辈为原则，日本则讲究论资排辈，等等。

| Abstract: | This article is a comprehensive comparative study on different living environments for Chinese and Japanese villagers. Based on the data from on -the -spot investigations, some fundamental differences between them can be pointed out. First, Chinese emphasize a choice of living environment, whereas Japanese an arrangement of it. Second, there are more customs in building houses in China than in Japan. Third, Chinese have fewer scruples in the arrangement of house furniture, while Japanese housing involves more factors of religion and faith. Fourth, basically there is no preservation of old-style houses in Chinese villages, but Japanese villages keep traditional houses and avoid reconstruction. Finally , living in Chinese villages is considered on the principle of reserving high-quality houses to the following generation, yet Japanese stress seniority in this respect. |
