| 摘 要： | 托马斯·哈代是英国最伟大的作家之一 ,他一生写了大量的著作 ,其中《德伯家的苔丝》与《无名的裘德》被看作是哈代的姊妹篇。这两部著作往往给人以很深的印象 ,因为他们是关于下层人民悲剧的独创。这两部小说的创作很相似。文章就其人物塑造方面的相同点进行探讨 ,也就是苔丝———《德伯家的苔丝》的主人公与《无名的裘德》的主人公裘德之间的相同点

| Abstract: | Thomas Hardy, one of the greatest British writers, wrote a large number of books. Among them there are Tess of the D`urbervilles and Jude the Obscure. These two are regarded as Thomas Hardy`s companion volumes. They are very much impressive for they are so original as tragedies of the lower people. These two novels are similarly created. This article focuses on the similarities of the charcterization of these two. That is, the creation of Tess, the herine of Tess of the D`urbervilles .and Jude, the hero of Jude the Obscure |
