| 摘 要： | 早在我国古代,为使众人正确理解佛教的根本宗旨和思想精神,一批佛经翻译家提出并实践了“得意忘象”的翻译思想,纠正了“格义”翻译法所造成的对佛经的误解,为佛教在中国的传播做出了巨大的贡献。即使在今天对翻译要求严格、细腻的专有名词的翻译中“得意忘象”式的翻译也是好翻译的一个显著特征。当今中国在世界生活中的影响越来越大,为中国外语教学,特别是翻译教学,提出了新的要求。积极进行教学改革,是外语教学为中华民族的新崛起应付的一份努力。

| Abstract: | As early as in ancient time when the Buddhism was translated into China,translators,some famous Buddhists,advocated to translate the content rather than the form when translating,and contributed a great lot to make Buddhism understood with fidelity and accepted widely in China.Translating the content rather than the form is a typical feature of good translation and it's very common even in practical translation of proper nouns which requires strict exactness and subtlety.Nowadays,China plays a more and more important part and attracts more and more people in the world,demanding reforms in foreign languages teaching and learning,especially.teaching in translation.To undertake reform to meet the need of the society is part of the duty of foreign languages education. |
