| 摘 要： | 文章利用普罗泰戈拉提出的＂针对一切事物都存在着两种相反又都讲得通的说法＂这一西方修辞基本原则和策略,结合表与里、始与终、因与果以及遗传性等方面探讨分析英语谚语的对称问题。目的在于通过对英语谚语对称问题的分析,进一步接近英语语言使用者的视角,更深入地了解英语的语言和文化,从而使跨文化交流活动更加顺畅高效。
