| 摘 要： | 以李白的<静夜思>英译文为例,从语篇层面上探讨英语与汉语在表现形式上的本色和差异.总的说来,在语篇上,英语具有衔接严谨、诉诸理性、语篇较长的特点;汉语则连贯紧凑、诉诸意象、语篇较短.正因如此,英诗诗意易于明朗,汉诗诗意易于模糊.了解两者之间的显著差异可以提高英汉互译的质量,促进英语的学习研究.

| Abstract: | The present paper takes four pieces of English translation of Libai's Jingyesi for example and discusses the formal differences between English and Chinese from the viewpoint of the text linguistics.Generally speaking,English has a well-knit cohesion,strong rationality and so has a long text;Chinese pays more attention to coherence,intentionality so has a short text.Because of this,the meaning of the English poem is easy to understand while that of Chinese is quite obscure.If you understand these remarkable differences,you can raise your quality in English-Chinese translation and promote your English study. |
