| Abstract: | Confucius＇ theory of the mean is mainly embodied in his outlook on the gentleman in the Analects of Confucius. The thinking of ＂zhong＂ is reflected in constructing the mode of the gentleman＇s personality, and the thinking of ＂yong＂ is manifested in the the way of the gentleman＇ s self-cultivation. |
