| 摘 要： | 档案资源的信息化、产业化、社会化是必然的趋势。而档案资源要实现现代化管理，必须实现管理计算机化。计算机化的档案管理又必然向着网络化的方向发展。网络是使档案工作步入现代化最好的技术手段，所以从某种意义上说档案管理计算机化也可以看作计算机网络化。本文结合新形势下高校档案管理工作出现的新状态，阐明了网络在高校档案管理工作中的必要性和优势，指出了在发展高校档案管理工作计算机网络化的进程中应该注意的一些问题。
