| 摘 要： | 翻译标准问题是翻译研究的核心,历来众说纷纭.辜正坤教授提出的翻译标准多元互补论可以说从哲学的高度对这种旷日持久、毫无意义的争论画上了一个句号,其理论价值不可低估.然而,辜教授只论证了多个翻译标准存在的客观现实及其合理性,而对选择翻译标准的限制条件没有详加论述.通过对这一问题的回顾与深入探讨,可以得出如下结论:翻译标准的充要条件乃是翻译所要达到的目的.

| Abstract: | The research on criteria of translation, on which people have been dividing their opinions , remains at the heart of translation studies . The theory of eomplementarities of multiple translation criteria , proposed by professor Gu Zhengkun has philosophieally , as we can say, put an end to the prolonged and fruitless arguments over them , of which the great theoretical value cannot be underestimated . However ,professor Gu has confined his argumentation to the objective existence of multiple translation criteria , ignoring the detailed expounding of their selectional conditions. This paper attempts to make an exploration into this problem and a suggestion that the purpose of translation is the adequate condition to determine the selection of translation criteria. |
