| 摘 要： | ＂百足之虫,死而不僵＂中＂僵＂应作＂仆倒＂理解。上古时期,＂僵＂的词义主要为＂仆倒＂,之后＂僵＂又引申出＂僵硬＂之义。清朝晚期前＂僵＂的＂仆倒＂义被＂僵硬＂义取代,晚清时,＂僵＂萌生出＂事情停滞不前＂之义。

| Abstract: | The word "Jiang" in the sentence "baichongzhizheng,si’erbujiang" means "fall down",which lasted since ancient times but later it had a extented meaning "stiff"."fall down" was replaced by "stiff" before the late Qing Dynasty and another meaning "stagnation"appeared. |
