| Abstract: | In the light of the principle of ＂micro-comparison and macro-analysis＂, based on the analysis of the difference of the passive forms in English and Chinese by comparing their structure, occasion and function, the paper then elaborates the following reasons why such difference exists： the difference of thinking mode, philosophical idea, and language feature of two peoples. |
