| 摘 要： | 修辞情境是当代西方修辞学最为瞩目但却尚存争议的概念之一。著名修辞学家Bitzer认为有情境才会有话语的存在，修辞话语是应境而生的适切反应。修辞学者Vatz则强调情境是藉由话语建构，并批评Bitzer完全忽略了修辞者作用和话语的建构力量，从而产生话语伦理责任无法认定和修辞学科地位低下等重大问题。然而，这些质疑却是对Bitzer理论的误读，而且究其本质不过是对相关学术情境做出的适切话语反应。

| Abstract: | Influential as it is,Bitzer's theory of situation's rhetoric nevertheless incurs criticisms,the most fierce and typical of which is Vatz's converse position of rhetoric's situations,which asserts Bitzer's would inevitably incur not only a disjunction of discourse and discursive ethics,but also further marginalize rhetoric's disciplinary status.Yet,with a reexamination of the articles,Vatz's criticism turns out to be no more than a fitting response to the publication of Bitzer's article.And Bitzer's not only... |
