| 摘 要： | 郭秉文执掌南高师-东大期间,以社会服务作为学校的办学宗旨之一,取得了辉煌的办学业绩。在中西文化交融的历史背景下,郭秉文积极求学、勇于探索,逐渐形成与完善了其大学社会服务的思想,主要包括:调整学科设置,满足社会需求;推广大学科研,推动社会发展;兴办社会教育,扩大教育受众域。郭秉文拓展了大学的社会服务职能,将大学的社会服务理念贯穿渗透到办学的各个环节,其社会服务思想对当前大学更好发挥社会服务职能具有现实意义和借鉴价值。

| Abstract: | When Guo Bingwen took charge of Nanjing Higher Normal School and Southeast University, one of his tenets in running a university is to serve the society and he made brilliant achievements. In the historical background when Chinese culture and the Western culture were integrated, he pursued knowledge diligently, explored courageously, and gradually developed his thoughts of universities serving the society, mainly composed of adjusting curriculum to meet the social needs, popularizing academic researches to boost social development and opening social education to expand the educational beneficiary. Guo Bingwen expanded the social service function and permeated the function into every aspect of college education. His thoughts are of referential and practical significance for contemporary universities. |
