| Abstract: | Through the rhetoric analysis of a prose in college English ,this thesis aims at explaining that college English teaching should not keep the students stay at the understanding stage ,but let them reach the appreciation level. Only this can they realise the infinite glamour of language ,encouraging them to display more interest in English study,enriching their language knowledge . So that they can improve from the understanding level to appreciation level. |
