| Abstract: | In this paper,the author analysis some figures of speech and images of the Burnt Incense: the Second by Zhang Ai-ling and draws the conclusion that Zhang Ai-ling not only tells an uncanny story of the wife's ignorance of sexual knowledge resulting in the suicide of the husband,but also conveys her own philosophy on the human nature and life.As the forlorn individual,it is desolate and it is no use to struggle for human being in the nature. |
