生物专业英语教学之体会

摘    要:建设“国际化的大学”已成为很多教育工作者的共识。顺应这一教育改革的要求,社会和许多高校都加大了对英语教学的关注,并取得了不菲的成绩。然而,在英语教学实践过程中,专业英语的教学仍处于边缘化。文章结合江西农业大学生物科学和工程学院在专业英语教学改革中的实践探索来探讨提高学生学术英语交流的可行性办法,期望为我国大学专业英语改革提供一定的借鉴。

Abstract:To build the university with the international characteristics has become the consensus of many educators.To fulfill this goal,society and a growing number of universities have done a lot in English teaching.Although a considerable number of achievements have been made in general English practice,the educational situation of English Specific for Academic Purposes(ESAP)is far from the satisfaction.Based on the English teaching practice in the College of Bioscience and Bioengineering of Jiangxi Agricultural University,this paper explores the feasible ways to improve students'academic English communication,hoping to provide some useful strategies for the teaching reform in ESAP in Chinese universities.
