| Abstract: | ??This paper summerixes the factors causing the decline of the American library education during the past ten years or more,arid stresses the necessity of taking the initiative in imprving the rurrent mechanism and speeding up the reform of the library education in China. The paper also emphasizes the importance of training qualified personnel in the fields of documentation and information in order to meet the needs of the aptialist market economy and social devetvprnent. |
