| Abstract: | "It Cleft-sentence" is a common English sentence pattern.It has some special usage which will be easily ignored and thus mistakes are caused.The article probes into the usage of the nominative case and objective case of personal pronoun,subject-verb agreement,the omission of the introducing words(that\who),etc.in "It Cleft-sentence".The essay also summarizes the different ways of analyzing the "It Cleft-sentence".The writer hopes the article may give a help to the Chinese English-learners. |
