| Abstract: | Reading plays a very important role in English study,whereas extracurricular English reading can greatly improve reading ability and all-round ability of college students.By using the ways of sample questionnaires and random interviews,the paper analyzes the current situation of after-class English reading among first-year English majors from Sichuan University of Arts and Science and the purpose of the study is to provide some instructions to the improvement of reading ability for English majors. |
