| 摘 要： | 以小城镇体育在中国的基本进程为主线，概述了中国小城镇体育发展客观必然性；描述了中国小城镇体育的发展现状；并从理性的角度展望小城镇体育未来的发展趋势；历史与现实因素的结合，决定了发展中国的小城镇体育必须做到：依托政府、保证硬件、优化软件、角色定位、确立重点、贵在普及和市场导向。
