| Abstract: | This essay discusses the relationships between public libraries and the reading for the society from the perspective of catalog recommendations.This essay suggests that public libraries not only have the responsibility for the reading behaviors of the society,but also have the favorable conditions to initiate social reading.Additionally,the question of how public libraries are involved into social reading behaviors will be examined. |
