| Abstract: | Discussion in class, a kind of communicative activity for different information, is an effective method in English teaching. Based on the distinguishing features of English teaching as a foreign language, this article deals with the importance of holding discussion in class properly. The author has done a lot of research work on the functions and types of discussion in English class and how to hold the discussion effectively. |
