| 摘 要： | 19世纪70年代以前,在华基督教新教各差会相互之间是独立封闭的,这不利于他们在中国传教事务的发展。于是,传教士分别于1877年、1890年、1907年和1922年在上海召开了4次全国性的大会,这4次大会都在各自的议期内集中解决了很多问题,加强了在华新教各差会间的联系,同时也加速了西方基督教会势力对中国社会各方面的渗透,因此这4次会议具有重要的历史性意义。
